India: Seeing the God of Breakthrough

By Jorge Parrott

India is intense. It is fascinating, dangerous, and worth the effort to those prepared to encounter the Lord of the harvest. The Lord of surprises moves in mighty ways in India. In each of my trips, I was amazed at the Father’s heart for the country. Yes, India is intense but the Lord wants to use our faith to reach her people—any effort or sacrifice on our part is nothing in the weight of His glory. Will you pray for those who go? And pray about going with us?

Along with the resources from Rick Joyner and MorningStar Ministries, we are now connected with over seventeen thousand churches providing fellowship, ministry services, prophetic team ministry, site visits, humanitarian aid, and Theology school degrees. With over 1.3 billion souls, India is expected to surpass China in population by 2020. The harvest is great and the laborers are few. Our job is to train and impart to leaders, and the Lord is giving us clear strategies for the days ahead. Continue reading

Impacting Leaders in the Nations

By Jorge Parrott

One primary objective in missions is building ongoing, deepening relationships with strategic partners sent by the Lord. We need sharp discernment as we seek the Lord in all areas. We are blessed with divine connections and the strategies of the Lord to do our part in fulfilling the Great Commission. The Holy Spirit allows us to “connect the dots” globally for a holy alignment of God’s people and purposes for this season.

We welcome you, our Partners, to engage in God’s heart for the nations by joining us in intercession, ministry teams, Skype prophetic ministry, discipleship, fundraising, and furthering our involvement in Christ’s Mandate for Missions—all to equip and disciple the nations. Rick Joyner asked me two years ago how we had so many volunteers working in missions. I replied, “It is easy, really. We take them into the presence of the Lord to see His heart for the nations.” The simplicity and power of the Gospel emphasizes the importance of building our relationship in the presence of the King.   Continue reading

Haiti: Mardi Gras Crusade and annual Leadership Conference

We are just a week and a day away from our greatest annual Event… Our Mardi Gras Crusade and annual Leadership Conference…. This is an awesome alternative for the church and the lost to come worship the Lord in the midst of the darkest hour of Haiti… Mardi Gras.

  1. We are about half way there on a $25,000 budget. I want to thank all of those who have given so graciously. My prayer is our Lord will in turn bless you back. Pray saints that God will move on  hearts to continue to sow seed for the budget to be met.
  2. Pray for a great outpouring of God upon this crusade and leadership conference. My heart yearns for a move of God.
  3. Haiti is in a very tense moment politically. I’m not seeing much news on television, but the internet is full of articles. With accusations of fraud in the primaries, and one of the main candidates pulling out of the final vote in protest… the climate in Haiti is dicey at the very least. Lots of threats to riot etc. Please pray the peace of our Lord over the nation of Haiti. That God will lead and guide this nation in this challenge.
  4. Please keep Linda and myself in your prayers. Challenges are everywhere as we plow through one at a time. Pray for our health and strength.
Thank you saints for standing with us. We have the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pastors Jay & Linda Threadgill

Report on Historic Meeting with Underground Leaders in China

By Jorge Parrott

The host organizer opened the covert meeting with this security status update, “Security is normal. We are under surveillance.” The security camera in the room was covered for our meeting. They told us not to take pictures and to guard our phone conversations and discussions our entire three days in the undisclosed location in mainland China.

Our dear friend, Eugene Bach, who spoke at our Missions Conference in Moravian Falls, was one of the main organizers of this meeting along with about fifty leaders of the underground churches. Eugene is the American leader of Back to Jerusalem, founded by Brother Yun (also known as The Heavenly Man).

While at this meeting, we met with ministry leaders working in North Korea and Iraq. One of our friends led a team that rescued four hundred Yazidi women raped by ISIS terrorists. The team’s commitment is based on prophetic words the Holy Spirit gave them about their assignments for the cause of Christ. Continue reading

MSU Graduates Sent to the Harvest

MSU graduates sent to the harvest

By Nancy G Daniel

When my daughter was five she asked me, “Mommy, did you ever get so filled with God you had to tell some about Him?”

At the time I did not totally understand what she was asking me. Now I understand that each of us have our own expression when we are overcome and filled by the Spirit of God. I am seeing this in our classes and I am compelled to share what is happening. Our students are getting so filled that they just want to pour out. We are calling it Fast Track. This is because we have seen the need for the persecuted and unchurched people groups for fast, intentional, and directed workshop type courses. This is created to train leaders who may not be alive next year. These leaders need more equipping and training so that they might infiltrate their nation for the glory of God. This is not a program. We have great material but it is not about the material, it is about the people and their needs and directed by the Sprit of God. Continue reading

Missions Highlights From 2015

By Jorge Parrott

Are you ready for some good news? We hear enough bad news. The kingdom is advancing. Your prayers and generosity are making an impact in sixty nations. We are blessed to do this. We are seeing fruit that remains as souls are saved, discipled, healed, and delivered. Long ago I heard this saying with regards to missions—“The water is free but the pipes are expensive.” Missions have indeed changed, and our prophetic teams, intercessors, and staff seek divine strategies and strategic alliances as they discern the times.

Two Essentials: Urgency and Rest

By Jorge Parrott

(All Scripture NKJV, except where noted)

Thomas Paine wrote almost two hundred fifty years ago, “These are the times that try men’s souls.” These words are often thought of as the seeds of the American Revolution. Faith, courage, and obedience are necessary to bring restoration to our families and those the Lord calls us to as reconcilers and peace-speakers.

Today the unrest is spreading in many nations around the world. The mass migration of immigrants fleeing from evil is an opportunity to win many to the Lord in spite of the failed policies and vacuum of leadership that is inciting terrorists and thugs. The Good News of Jesus Christ is spreading. Persecution, spiritual warfare, wars, turmoil, and corruption represent the enemy of our soul fighting harder than ever, as if he knows his end is near and Who wins the battle at the end of this age. Sent To Cross Enemy Lines

By Jorge Parrott
All Scripture references are English Standard Version.

Are we prepared to be hated for the name of Jesus? In John 17:14 we learn, “I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.” Then in John 17:18 we read, “As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.” He is in us and He has sent us to release the good news. In verse 26, Jesus prays to the Father: “I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

Our part in fulfilling the Great Commission authorizes and empowers us to disciple the nations and learn to see and love with His heart. This will cost us dearly in terms of our comfort zone, our lukewarm complacency, and our own desires and agenda as our carnal nature is burned up.

Jesus is worth it all. He desires us to have His joy, and He speaks to the Father on our behalf: “But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves” (John 17:13). We live this set apart life for His joy, not our own. We know without faith it is impossible to please Him (see Hebrews 11:6).

Shaken Or Stirred?

By Jorge Parrott

What is not being shaken right now? The reality of the daily media reports would seem unbelievable even just a few years ago. Many are being stirred by the Holy Spirit to fresh boldness and courage, which is sorely lacking in churches, governments, and organizations in every nation. Many are telling us of a fresh conviction of the holy fear of the Lord as never before. Are we sensitive to the Holy Spirit to discern the times? Have we learned how to love and possess the commitment to obey our Captain at all costs?  Continue reading

Going Beyond The Veil In Italy

By Jorge Parrott

The remnant of true disciples of Jesus is thriving in many nations. Italy is a nation that has a long history and importance, even in The Bible and the life of the Apostle Paul. The Lord revealed to us at the recent Prophetic Round Table held in late June to speak to them about their identity as a nation, as God’s people, and as end-time warriors in the Spirit. There is a surprising move occurring in the Spirit-filled churches there.

The influence of the Catholic church is often all we hear about from Italy. Be encouraged there is much unity and passion in the evangelical and protestant churches in Italy to persevere in turbulent times. Recently, over 500,000, including many Catholics, gathered in Rome to protest gay marriage and gender identity tolerance. The identity of young people there is being challenged with societal and secular humanist and gay agenda ilk threatening their God ordained gender identity and the sanctity of marriage.   Continue reading

The World in the Lord’s Eye

By Jorge Parrott

In an open vision during prayer, I saw the earth in the right eye of the Lord. Imagine what He sees and knows. Imagine His heart and passion for us all. He knows the hairs on our heads and yet keeps us from being destroyed by gamma bursts and crashing massive meteors. The Holy Spirit comes when we trust and allow Him to help and guide us through these turbulent times. If we love the Lord and obey Him, He always breaks through. Continue reading

Open Heavens in Asia

by Jorge Parrott

I just returned from Singapore, Kazakhstan, and Mongolia. I could feel the power and love in the prayer-covering from back home. The Lord showed up every day. I strongly felt this trip was a pilgrimage for me personally to encounter more of the Lord and His strategies for our missions work globally. He does not disappoint. Continue reading

Hope Is Thriving In Cuba (Part 1)

By Jorge Parrott (all scripture from NKJV)

We all desire to know the Lord more. A few years ago the Holy Spirit captured me in an encounter with a vision of a giant gem with many facets, each one unique and beyond beautiful. He instructed me to walk around this giant dazzling gem of his handiwork. I was speechless as I walked, marveling at his holy creation. He asked me ‘Do you want to know me more?’ I replied, ‘Lord, you know I do.’ He then whispered ‘if you want to know me more then get to know me through my creations in many lands.’

Our recent trip to Cuba was another trip to the ‘classroom’ of the greatest Teacher. We are thankful and blessed to witness the Lord at work in this island nation that has prospered during 57 years of the government of Fidel Castro. Continue reading

The Reality of the Promise

By Jorge Parrott
(All Scripture references are New King James Version)

Bobby Connor said recently as he held the palm of his hand right up to his nose, “The veil between us and the kingdom of heaven is as close as a sheet of Saran wrap.” All the pieces are coming together. The battle of the ages intensifies as daily we see the enemy of our souls fighting hard, even in horrific ways.

Our hope in Jesus Christ pulls us like a magnet upward into that high calling. We must build ourselves up in the most holy faith as if we have no choice. Although we have a choice, we need to act as if we have no choice. By faith we are exhorted to block out the choice we have to fear, because then we will fail. We have many depending on us both here on earth and in heaven. Any setbacks are just a set up for the comeback we have in Jesus. Continue reading

The Path Toward Completion

By Jorge Parrott (All Scriptures from New King James Version)

The supernatural love of God is permeating and growing in many lives in amazing ways as we recognize new doors of opportunity opening on a global scale. The great harvest spoken of for many years is at our doorstep. More lives are coming to Jesus than ever before. Reports of the many recent wars going on around the world are shocking in their brutality as barbaric, demonic spirits run rampant, threatening millions of innocent lives, nations, and constitutions. Christianity is suffering great persecution.

The tsunami of souls coming in may seem hidden for now, but the sea of souls is swelling with hope just beyond our visible horizon. How do we prepare? Continue reading

Update from Iraq: Preparing our Hearts to be Strong

by Jorge Parrott (All Scripture references New King James version)

Refugees from Iraq

These days there many are fleeing to the shelter of the Lord. Yet there are many more who are searching for this place of refuge but do not know where to find it. “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, ‘My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust’” (Psalm 91:1-2).

Recent reports from close, trusted friends reaching out to the many refugees in Iraq and the surrounding region all speak of the horrendous butchering, torture, amputations, rapes, and beheading of many innocent people. These brave friends tell me of these horrors beyond description as we provide humanitarian aid, love, and comfort in this current battle against ISIL terrorists. Though there is much sorrow, many souls are coming to Jesus.

There is Increasing Power With Increasing Unity

By Jorge Parrott (all Scriptures from NKJV)

Jesus said in His last prayer on earth in John 17:11, “Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.” Several prophets have spoken the last two years about a new horrid evil previously unseen being released in the world today. The enemy of our soul knows that Jesus is returning soon. Evil persecution, even wicked genocide, ethnic cleansing, and untold acts of barbaric darkness are increasing daily in many lands and are now beginning to appear in the U.S.

As children of the Most High God, what is to be our response in this hour? We know the Lord and His body of Christ worldwide wins in the end, but we are fast becoming aware that we now have no choice but rise to the occasion to be the Lord’s heart, voice, and body to stand against the pervasive darkness. We are here to destroy the works of the enemy. Desperate times call upon us as children of the light to burn brighter and brighter. Even a little light casts out much darkness. Continue reading

Ebola Report October 2014

Dear Jorge, October 14, 2014

I wanted to get this to you right away both since you asked me for it and time is of the essence given the ebola pandemic in Sierra Leone (and elsewhere). I spoke with pastor Andrew Sesay (director of Iris Ministries in Sierra Leone) tonight again to get a few more details and to hear more of his heart for the current situation. I hope this helps you and those who may read this to have a better understanding of the situation and the possibilities there.

The Joy Set Before Us

By Jorge Parrott (All Scriptures are American Standard Version)

What an amazing time we are in. In these days the Lord is showing us a greater depth of prophecy and an increase in the supernatural around the world. We are in dire straits yet trusting God, aware of how much we depend on the Lord to be with us and lead us by His Holy Spirit.

When we visit our friends working in fifty-eight nations, we are called to walk them into greater intimacy with God and experience the wonders of the Lord in His beauty of holiness. While they often teach us about faith and courage in dire surroundings, we are sent to share real koinonia and encourage them to go higher together. Power evangelism happens when we release the supernatural demonstrations of power of the Lord through our love, sharing the Father’s heart, words, healings, and deliverances.

Reports abound of seeing a growing depth of revelation converge with the prayers of millions of saints going deep into intercession. The Lord is revealing the fulfillment of His heart to an ever-increasing number. It appears that in this season, with darkness and evil increasing dramatically, our Lord is needing us to increase our depth of understanding of His Spirit and His plans so we may be prepared, faith-filled, and ready to follow His marching orders in the coming battles.

Tribulations, genocide, hatred of Israel and its people, along with the greatest persecution of believers in history are all around us. The Lord is strengthening us for the spiritual battles ahead. The trumpet call is loud and clear to awaken us from slumber, to rise and shine for the glory of the Lord is growing stronger in us, His bride.

We are hearing the Spirit of the Lord lead us into deeper revelation of His words, “the joy of the Lord is our strength” (see Nehemiah 8:10), as He unfolds the mysteries of what this great harvest will look like in the coming days. The times before us are those days spoken of over the last few thousand years. Crisis is the threshold to God’s people seizing the opportunity to overcome and give the Lord more glory and honor.

The Laodicean church in the west is being shaken because “everything that can be shaken will be shaken and that which cannot be shaken will remain” (see Hebrews 12:27). We have not seen anything yet. Our peace in the Lord that overcomes the enemy must grow so that nothing surprises us and nothing stops us. The Lord is allowing events to unfold that are way beyond human remedy. We must keep our eyes on Him, not the enemy of our soul.

Our Perception of the Lord

Hebrews 12:2 “looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Our perception of who God is needs to align with who God says we are. In the parable of the talents in Matthew chapter 25, we read about the last steward who perceived the Lord to be a hard taskmaster, so he had fear instead of faith. His doubt and lack of faith cost him his eternal destiny.

“And he also that had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou didst not sow, and gathering where thou didst not scatter;
“and I was afraid, and went away and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, thou hast thine own.
“…and at my coming I should have received back mine own with interest. Take ye away therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him that hath the ten talents.
“And cast ye out the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth. But when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory” (Matthew 25:24-28, 30).
Our faith is being tested moment by moment. We must choose the path of faith, stepping out of our comfort zones with boldness and courage. The time has come. Truth begets truth, and faith begets faith. The Lord will give us more, if He can trust us first in the small things.
How we see the Lord can make or break us and determine if we will be found faithful. Let us examine ourselves to see that we have a firm foundation in our perception of how we see the Lord of hosts. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you areas where your ideas are shaped by the world or by the Spirit of the Lord, “Christ in us, the hope of glory” (see Colossians 1:27).

The Great Apostasy is Unfolding

There will be many who fall away. In fact, many already have. Some fall from the spread of political correctness, others from growing weary in well doing. Others fall from crises, financial ruin, or allowing offense to take root in their lives. We must keep our eyes on Jesus, not the enemy. We are called to hold our focus straight in the ways of the Lord.
In James we see “that a double minded man achieves nothing” (see James 1:8). Whose report will we believe? The curse of an ideology leads to destruction, whether it be Islam, Chrislam, New Age, or the watering down of the gospel as in II Timothy 3:5 “holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power therefore, from these also turn away.” Effective evangelism and discipleship must be rooted in releasing the supernatural. We must know why we believe what we believe. We must demonstrate in power of the resurrection strength we have in the Lord Jesus. We must have the depth and boldness to defend our faith and demonstrate the supernatural. Continue reading

Seeing Jesus Now in the 21st Century

By Jorge Parrott (All Scripture references are NKJV)

What we think about and do in our daily lives impacts our eternity. We walk in two worlds simultaneously: the here and now on this earth and the eternal reality of which we see only glimpses. We know the unseen eternal realm is more real than this world. Last year, Rick Joyner shared a dream he had in which he met Enoch and Elijah. Enoch was the happiest man he had ever met (Enoch walked with God for 300 years). Then Rick met Elijah and asked him why Enoch was so happy. Elijah answered, “The way we live each day determines our eternity.” Continue reading

20140226_181711As our team arrived in Havana, we had already been fighting much warfare just to get there. We knew the Lord was preparing breakthroughs and was about to release His glory on us and on the island of Cuba. I was the first one in line for immigration. The woman officer asked if I had health insurance. I had never been asked that on prior trips to Cuba. I said, “yes” but I did not have an ID card. She told me to go wait at the front for an official to question me.

My other team members got through and went on to retrieve our luggage. I waited impatiently and after five minutes asked a soldier where was the person to interview me. He said to just wait there. This was done four or five more times in the next thirty minutes with the same answer, “Just wait.” Continue reading

Preparing Apostolic Teams

By Jorge Parrott  (All Scripture references are New American Standard Bible.)

MorningStar is engaged at every level of ministry in preparing apostolic teams to go into nations making disciples in preparation for the return of our King Jesus: CSCL, MSU, special forces, missions, prophetic teams, MFM/MFC, 50+ Generation, congregations, and publications, to name a few.  Releasing the heart of the Father and humbly being sensitive to what the Lord has done and is doing in many cultures brings an increase in the favor and access awaiting us. Our sanctified imagination dreams with God for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, as we discover the inheritance, exploits, greater works, sharpened discernment, and open prophetic doors that the blood of Jesus’ sacrifice has provided us. Shifting into Spring

smallshift-intospringby Dr. Nancy G. Daniel
We are in such an exciting season. The buds are going to bloom no matter what we do. Spring will come. The cold dark winter will melt into beauty once again.

The year 2014 for many has been hard to say the least, but let’s put this in perspective as we walk into Spring. Hebrews 4:2 says that we can enter the promises as we mix faith with the word. We have the opportunity to corporate with the season and SHIFT out of old patterns, thoughts and habits. We can WALK in the place we have only dreamed of, let us dare to believe. Continue reading

Beyond Our Ability–Supernatural Missions Of Hope

By Jorge Parrott  (all scriptures taken from the NASB version)

We as humans have a real knack for getting ourselves in awkward predicaments. I am often asked, “How can I possibly engage in international missions with so much uncertainty all around us? One of our founding fathers, Thomas Paine said, “These are the times that try men’s souls”.  I think every generation that man has been on earth ends up in a real ‘pickle’.  We must know the Lord and if we were not growing in greater intimacy with him we would really be in dire straits.  To those who have no hope in our savior, Jesus Christ, the world is much darker and devoid of hope. We must cling to the cross of Jesus Christ. Continue reading

Philippines-After the Storm

By Jorge Parrott

A small team from MorningStar/CM Missions had planned for several months to travel to the Philippines for the anniversary celebration of CMMP(Correll Missionary Ministries Philippines) and CMBI (Correll Memorial Bible Institute.) My wife, Anna Marie, and the Dean of our Theology School, Dr. Nancy Daniel accompanied me on this trip. Little did we know the super Typhoon Haiyan would hit the same day. We had all been previously and dearly love what the Lord is doing in this ministry. I first went to the Philippines in 1998.

The Winds of Change Blowing in Greece

The Winds of Change Blowing in Greece

By Jorge Parrott
All Scripture references are New King James version.

Vision Like Abraham

We are invited to many strategic places by a multitude of ministries. The Bible says to “know those who labor among you” (see I Thessalonians 5:12). We seek the Lord for every place our ministry teams are invited to visit. Blessed by our amazing network of trusted and embedded missionaries, we see doors opening leading us further into open heavens, blessed by the Lord’s favor and grace. May we be found faithful.

God loves when we make our hearts available to follow His leading by faith, like Abraham being called out of the Ur of Chaldees to find “that city on a hill.”  Abraham did not know how long it would take to get there or where it was. He just knew that he would recognize it when he got there.

Many of us are visionary in nature and have vivid imaginations. I love this Scripture:

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,
to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Ephesians 3:20-21).

Terrorists Respond to Love of Jesus

The privilege of ministering to former Taliban, Al Queda, and Iranian Republican Guard soldiers, some of who were trained to hunt and kill Christians, further deepens my faith and holy fear of the Lord.  I know more than ever before that nothing is impossible with God. Our team’s recent visit became for us an impartation for a deeper walk with the Lord.

A True Father

We went to a refugee center run by a true father in the faith and apostolic leader who was imprisoned for eight years in Iran for his faith. The first night of my visit, I was asked to participate in communion with precious believers, many of who had just come to the Lord

The Bible says we have many teachers but not many fathers (see I Corinthians 4:15).  The love of our Father God pours out of our friend, Pastor Daniel.  He has ministered to refugees in Spain, Italy, and elsewhere, being able to speak Farsi and several other languages including English. The anointing on this true apostolic father is able to pierce many hard hearts and open the reality of heaven to them. He is patient and thoughtful, carefully training, equipping and loving these new believers while feeding and clothing them. He fulfills the commandment to make disciples.

Pastor Daniel was later beaten twice, arrested twice in a forty-eight hour period, and spent three nights in a jail cell built for eight but holding thirty-two prisoners. The arrest is connected to the ministry van he recently purchased that was involved in some criminal activity before he bought it. His case is continued to early December. He is free until that time. It is unknown if the case is really related to that or perhaps more anti-immigrant behavior by officials.

Growth In Spite of Persecution

The first Sunday there, I was asked to preach. The newly rented space is filled to capacity. From August to October this fellowship has grown from fifty to almost three hundred. Refugees from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and other Arabic nations have fled war zones and poverty seeking a better life for their families.

The room was noisy with the many dialects and skeptical looks of this American who knows nothing of the hardship and trials they have experienced. I knew to keep it short but to emphasize that the “veil has been torn,” and we have open access to the love of this God who answers prayer. I shared the word, Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews  4:16). Pastor Daniel told me later that one man asked him about me, “This man knows nothing of what we have been through and he smiles so, he must not have any problems.” Daniel answered him, “He probably has a mountain of trouble, he has just learned to stand on top of it.”

When I asked for people to stand up if they wanted to receive Jesus in their hearts, a few stood. Their neighbors or spouses pulled them down suddenly. A few minutes later I tried again asking people to raise their hands to receive Jesus. Again, suddenly neighbors or spouses pulled other hands down. Some stood boldly and some kept their hands raised boldly as Pastor Daniel said to go ahead and lead them in the repentance of sins and asking Jesus into their hearts.

We learned there was a Muslim spy in the room. The Holy Spirit nudged me to carry on and go forward.  I sensed angels in the room warring for Jesus’ holy love to pierce hearts.

I led them in a prayer of salvation. About twenty people prayed earnestly to receive Jesus. Then I asked those who wanted to experience going to heaven right then to come forward, as taught by Bob Jones. About ten came forward as I took them up to heaven. The peace of God prevailed and those who were hungry were very blessed. Some did not allow the Lord to touch them. This glory was readily available to all who hungered for it.

An Attempted Beheading

The next day our team went to Rhodes for the Investiture being held by the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. Two days after we arrived, we received a call that one of the new believers had been attacked and almost beheaded. His ear was totally cut off.  We alerted our intercessors and friends globally to pray. Later we learned that this brother’s ear had been re-attached and while doctors said he would never hear through that ear again, we did not receive that report. Many were praying for the hearing to be restored and God heard our plea.  Our brother hears again. Although some infection and gangrene set in and the lower part of his ear had to be removed, his hearing is intact, praise God.

A few weeks earlier an eighty-year-old man had given his heart to the Lord. On the way home from the meeting, he was attacked by radical extremist and stabbed to death in Athens.

The Earth Shook, Prison Walls Fell, The Door Opened

While in Athens, Pastor Daniel introduced us to young Ahmed. In 2011 he was in prison in Turkey as a non-Christian. He had been married a short time to a Christian wife. After about six months in prison, his wife came to visit him and said that she did not think he would be in prison much longer. Two days later a big earthquake knocked down the walls of the prison, and the door opened. He escaped and got on a boat in the Aegean Sea. The boat sank. He washed ashore in Greece.  He quickly gave his heart to Jesus and serves humbly with joy. He said that before giving his heart to Jesus, he had no peace. With Jesus, he has peace and joy unspeakable. He is so thankful and happy to know Jesus.

Thanks to those MorningStar Partners who quickly responded to pay a brother’s 1,800 Euro medical bill. He has not yet been accepted into the UN refugee program and would have faced eighteen months in jail for nonpayment. He required follow-up surgery and is now at a refugee center recuperating, thankful to have suffered for Jesus.

End Time Battles and The Greater Glory

Two days after we returned from Greece, in my morning time with the Lord, in a vision the Holy Spirit spoke, “I have opened my Book of Life to allow you to walk in my living word. During your time in Greece, I allowed you to step into the Book of Acts.”  For many in the days ahead, the Lord will open His word, and we will see the supernatural ways of God like never before.

The end-time battles are all around us. God is building our faith through these times of uncertainty. We have had plenty of teaching and been equipped and released to run to the sound of war. It is time for engagement and action. We are to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves. Jesus went to heaven so the Holy Spirit, our Helper, could come. God is with us. Let us sharpen our discernment and allow the Holy Spirit to help us.

We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. Certainly we will be called to overcome much in this coming season. All seven churches in the Book of Revelation had to overcome something to receive their reward. Will the days ahead be any different? Any crisis we face has golden doors of opportunity for us to trust and know God even more as we demonstrate the kingdom of God. As Rick Joyner often says, among those listed in Revelation who will not enter the kingdom, the first listed is the coward.
In II Corinthians 10:4 we read, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.”
The peace of God overcomes the enemy. May we love more while we grow in the rest, intimacy, faith, and peace in God, through Christ Jesus our all in all.

Unlike Anything Seen Before

The distinguishing characteristic of the “heroes of the faith” in Hebrews 11 is that each one had done something that had never done before. The Moravian “trumpet call” resonates loudly today in the MorningStar global prophetic community. We must know the Shepherd’s voice in the days ahead to navigate these waters and do our part to see the Great Commission fulfilled.

Several trusted prophetic voices in the last year have said there is a new level of evil released in the earth. The Lord is preparing His people with increasing discernment and prophetic revelation to those who hunger for Him as never before.  His body may appear in disarray amidst the chaos and darkness spreading throughout the earth, but the Lord is not anxious nor wringing His hands in heaven. The Holy Spirit loves to breathe divine order upon chaos. We are authorized to declare peace to any storm. We carry the glory and peace of God and are to give it away everywhere we go.

Our perceptions and sensitivities to the ways of the Holy Spirit will need to heighten and sharpen in the coming days of tribulation and trials.  God’s word is waiting to be fulfilled in and through us—His entire body—in these days. Psalm 91:1-3 comes to mind often these days.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.”

No Other Option But Faith

I am often asked why we see so many more miracles in other nations than our own when our teams go out. The message might be the same as we hear at home. The speaker may not be dynamic. Perhaps it is because they believe what is being preached, and their situation is so stark and severe compared to what most people in the West have ever experienced, that they simply must trust God for a supernatural manifestation and often for their very next meal, let alone healing physically or financially. When there is no other way but to trust God, then He comes to save, heal, and deliver. God’s grace extends across America even now as He waits for us to bow the knee and ask for His mercy in repentance. The United States must have revival or it is doomed.

A Turning Tide

As heaven is invading earth we see a shift, a change at hand. In fact the kingdom of God is at hand. The compassion of Jesus poured out in any cultural setting, rich or poor, is being released across the world as those who hunger and pay the price to spend time in His presence are seeing the release of His heart and hand through His vessels of clay. A surrendered life focused on God’s heart and aligned with His will accomplishes more lasting fruit than all the unrighteous governments or riches of men.

Increasing waves of God’s greater glory and revival spreading in many nations is the news we should pay heed to, rather than the gloom of mainstream media. No longer do we need to travel to third world nations to witness miracles. (However, short-term mission trips can be one of the ways the Lord will bring revival back to our “Laodicean” nation.) If we seek Him, we will find Him in the here and now to release Jesus and His love. Jesus is inside of us wanting to come out in every nation, wherever we are.

Come Up Here!

God is moving and also waiting on us. The Lord is calling us to “come up here.” Carrying our cross daily includes knowing that every trial is an opportunity to trust God more, to know Him more, and to be imitators of Jesus. The resurrected life is one that knows the sufferings of life and that the grave cannot keep us from the surety of victory we have in Christ. We are called to urgently reach the lost and make disciples of all nations.

“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for  the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2).We are seated in heavenly places with our King, so let us run this race well and finish strong for His glory. Jesus has gone before us and completed the work. The work of the Father is to believe. May we believe the way He made us to believe in the days ahead, by seeing the fullness of Christ, full of joy. We are His people, His body, hearts knit together by His love and power. Go forth with praise, thanksgiving, and joy.
